By using Meopel, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. What Meopel Is

Meopel is a real-world hangout coordination app. It is not a dating app. It is designed to help people find company for everyday activities — coffee, walks, food, sports, and more — in public places.

2. Eligibility

• You must be 18 years or older to use Meopel.
• You must have a valid Indian mobile number for OTP verification.
• If you are found to be underage, your account will be permanently removed.

3. Your Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate and up-to-date information in your profile, including your real name, age, gender, and a genuine photo of yourself.
• You must only post plans you genuinely intend to follow through on.
• You must treat other users with respect. Harassment, abuse, threats, or discriminatory behaviour are strictly prohibited.
• You must not use Meopel for solicitation, scams, promotional, commercial, or illegal activities of any kind.
• You must not impersonate another person.
• You must only arrange to meet in public places.
• You must not share another user's personal information outside the app.

4. Plans and Meetups

• When you post a plan, you are committing to show up.
• If you cannot attend, you must cancel as early as possible so others are not left waiting.
• Repeated no-shows may result in reduced visibility or account restriction.
• Your conduct and reliability are reflected in your reputation score, which is used internally to improve the safety of the community.
• Meopel is not responsible for what happens during or after a meetup.

5. Safety

• Always meet in public places. Never share your home address.
• Trust your instincts. If something feels wrong, leave.
• You are solely responsible for your own safety during any meetup.
• Report unsafe behaviour using the in-app reporting tool or by emailing meopel.app@gmail.com.

6. Reporting and Blocking

You have the right to block or report any user or plan that makes you feel unsafe or uncomfortable. All reports are reviewed by our team. Misuse of the reporting or blocking feature is itself a violation of these terms.

7. Content

You are responsible for all content you post. Profile photos must be a genuine, recent photo of yourself — misleading, explicit, or impersonating photos will be removed. By posting, you grant Meopel a non-exclusive licence to display your content within the app. We may remove any content that violates these terms without notice.

8. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from within the app. Upon deletion, your profile, plans, and messages will be permanently removed.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, repeatedly no-show, or engage in behaviour harmful to other users or the community — without prior notice.

10. Limitation of Liability

Meopel is provided "as is". You acknowledge that meetups are arranged between independent users and Meopel bears no responsibility for the actions, conduct, or intentions of any user. We are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from use of the app or participation in any meetup arranged through the platform.

11. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. You will be notified within the app and must re-accept the updated terms to continue using Meopel.
